The October 2nd meeting of the Industrial Development Commission
was called to order by Chairman* Robert Oslund at 8:10 P.M.
Roll Callt Dallas Holms Robert Oslunds Charles Nelsons Frank Kampmeyers
Roger Machmsierf Harry Johnson Robert Grosshanss Earl Simonet
Gerald Gerber, Wayne Lubrecht, Charles Gerber* Ernes McArthur
Mr. Charles Gerber was introducied to members of this Commission, Mr. Gerber
is replacing Norm Qpaleys who has resigned. (Though we now have two GerberIG
. . they just met each other tonight)
Motion by Charles Nelsons and seconded by Dallas Holm to approve the
minutes of the August 22nd meeting as recorded. Motion carried,
Motion by Charles Nelson$ and seconded by Dallas Holm to approve the
Minttes of the September 4th meeting as recorded. Motion carried,
Motion by Charles Nelson, and seconded by Gerald Gerber that a committee
be formed to review the proceedings of acquiring building permits to see if
they delay development. Motion carried. The following committee was formedt

Motion by Erne McArthur, and seconded by Dallas Holm that a committee be
formed to prepare and present to this Commission a, questionaires, and the
organization of a campaign of Industrial Development Comission members
visiting with existing businesses is Brooklyn, Center . , .1) Welcome in
community 2) Finding out what their problems are* and other information
as stated in the questionaire. Motbu carried. The following committee was

Motion by Dallas Holm, & Ad seconded by Erne e McArthur thA the meeting
be adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 9:25 P.M,
