Registration for summer classes and programs begins Sat., May 14 at the Brooklyn Center Community Center (except where noted in class descriptions). May 14, the opening day of registration, a person may sign up for themself or their immediate family. After 3 p.m on this day, you may register for as many as you wish. 3. The parks and recreation office located in the community center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday from 11:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. 4. Where classes are limited, registration will be on a first -come, first- served basis. Persons are not registered until the fee has been paid. The parks and recreation department reserves the right to cancel classes or activities when an insufficient number of people have signed up. 5. Instructors will not be permitted to accept registration at the activity location. 6. Refund procedure: Requests for refunds must be made at least 24 hours before the first class session.
