RESOLUTION NO. 2022-35
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING A CONTRACT,
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NOS. 2022-01, 02, 03 AND 04, WOODBINE
AREA STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project Nos.
2022-01, 02, 03 and 04, bids were received, opened and tabulated by the City Clerk and
Engineer on the 4th day of March, 2022. Said bids were as follows:
Bidder Total Base Bid
GMH Asphalt Corporation $4,183,882.67
Park Construction Company $4,192,318.09
WHEREAS, it appears that GMH Asphalt Corporation of Chaska, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into a contract with GMH Asphalt Corporation of Chaska, Minnesota in
the name of the City of Brooklyn Center, for Improvement Project Nos.
2022-01, 02, 03 and 04, according to the plans and specifications therefore
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City
Engineer.
2. The estimated project costs and revenues are as follows:

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Ryan
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Butler, Elliott, Graves, Lawrence-Anderson, Ryan
and the following voted against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
