HomeMy WebLinkAbout2022-071 CCR Member Elliott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2022-71 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2023-03, 51ST AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS (TWIN LAKE BLVD TO FRANCE AVE) WHEREAS, the City's Capital Improvement Program identifies specific streets for proposed infrastructure improvements in 2023; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the scope of proposed improvements for the 51 St Avenue Improvements (Twin Lake Blvd to France Avenue); and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to begin the process of information gathering and solicitation of public comments. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota,that: 1. Improvement Project No. 2023-03, 51St Avenue Improvements (Twin Lake Blvd to France Avenue) is hereby established. 2. Staff is directed to begin field work, contact property owners in the neighborhood to obtain comments and input and hold public informational meetings for property owners in the neighborhood where improvements are proposed. 3. The City Engineer shall prepare a project feasibility report for review by the City Council in the fall of 2022. 4. Estimated project costs for preliminary field work, geotechnical investigations and sewer televising costs are as follows: COST AMOUNT Televising $ 2,000 Field Survey $ 8,000 Geotechnical/Drainage Investigation $ 2,000 Preliminary Design and Plan Prep. $ 28,000 Estimated Costs Total $ 40,000 RESOLUTION NO. 2022-71 REVENUES AMOUNT Sanitary Sewer Utility Fund $ 1,000 Water Utility Fund $ 1,000 Storm Sewer Utility Fund $ 8,000 Street Reconstruction Fund $ 30,000 Estimated Revenues Total $ 40,000 July 25, 2022 Date Mayor ATTEST: 611/10 Eiktta City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Graves and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Butler, Elliott, Graves, Lawrence-Anderson, Ryan and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
