Home My WebLink About2022-114 CCR Member Ryan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2022-114 RESOLUTION APPROVING SUMMARY PUBLICATION OF AN ORDINANCE NO. 2022-08 VACATING STORM SEWER, DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN LOT 1, BLOCK 1 OF THE PLAT OF BROOKDALE SQUARE 2ND ADDITION, AND LOT 1 AND LOT 2, BLOCK 2 OF THE PLAT OF BROOKDALE SQUARE, IN THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center acted at its October 10, 2022 meeting to adopt Ordinance No. 2022-08, "an ordinance vacating storm sewer, drainage and utility easements within lot 1, block 1 of the plat of Brookdale square 2nd addition, and lot 1 and lot 2, block 2 of the plat of Brookdale square, in the City of Brooklyn center, Hennepin county, Minnesota, and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subdivision 4 allows publication of adopted ordinances by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those containing maps or charts; and WHEREAS,the City Council determines publishing the entire text of the Ordinance is not in the best interests of the City as the Ordinance is readily available to the public on the City's website and by contacting City Hall; and WHEREAS, the City Council determines the following summary clearly informs the public of the intent of Ordinance and where to obtain a copy of the full text. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center hereby approves publication of the following summary language as publication of the Ordinance: CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER SUMMARY PUBLICATION RESOLUTION NO. 2022-114 RESOLUTION APPROVING SUMMARY PUBLICATION OF AN ORDINANCE NO. 2022-08 VACATING STORM SEWER, DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN LOT 1, BLOCK 1 OF THE PLAT OF BROOKDALE SQUARE 2ND ADDITION, AND LOT 1 AND LOT 2, BLOCK 2 OF THE PLAT OF BROOKDALE SQUARE, IN THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA The Brooklyn Center City Council adopted the above-referenced ordinance vacating storm sewer, drainage and utility easements within lot 1, block 1 of the plat of Brookdale square 2nd RESOLUTION NO. 2022-114 addition, and lot 1 and lot 2, block 2 of the plat of Brookdale square, in the city of Brooklyn center, Hennepin county, Minnesota • October 10, 2022 Date Mayor ATTEST: City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Graves and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Elliott, Graves, Lawrence-Anderson, Ryan and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
