CALL TO ORDER The Brooklyn Center Economic Development Authority (EDA) met in a Regular Session called to order by President Mike Elliott at 9:51 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL President Mike Elliott and Commissioners April Graves, Kris Lawrence-Anderson, and Dan Ryan were present. Commissioner Marquita Butler was absent and excused. Also present were Executive Director Reggie Edwards, City Attorney Jason Hill, and City Clerk/Interim Assistant City Manager Barb Suciu. 3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND CONSENT AGENDA Commissioner Ryan moved and Commissioner Graves seconded to approve the Agenda and Consent Agenda, and the following item was approved: 3a. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. September 26, 2022 – Regular Session 3b. RESOLUTION NO. 2022-22; APPROVING THE FIFTH AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT AND RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT WITH SHENG ZHENG, WANG LIN, LIN, INC., OPERATING UNDER THE TRADE NAME "OCEAN BUFFET" AND ALATUS BROOKLYN CENTER Motion passed unanimously. 4. RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL BUDGET FOR THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER, MINNESOTA, FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023 WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, has considered the final budget for Fiscal Year 2023. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Economic Development Authority of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that revenues and appropriations for the Economic Development Authority for the 2023 fiscal year are hereby adopted as follows: Economic Development Authority Revenues Miscellaneous Revenue Other Financing Sources $ 216,600 508,633 Total Economic Development Authority $ 725,233 Appropriations EDA Operations $ 721,530 Total Economic Development Authority $ 721,530 December 5, 2022 Date President The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
