A motion was made, seconded and carried . ,o -D.--*d two more representatives from the Crystal area to the c amai t.te•e in order to make a better balance. Mr. Chuck Bizuonsen5 4008 Idaho Avenue - -north, was introduced as one of the two new members. The sect}nd member is yet to be named. Travis Brow?n reported that three signs are now up. The posts are in for the fourth at 60th and Regent Avenue and the sign will be installed as soon as the snow ealts. Pauline Langsdorf reported that Dare Anderson is having a study tuade of Twin bakes and that since the fort- aces is a eater shed, it will be included in that study. A motion was made, seconded and carried to order 2,000 trees from he Department of National Resources in a wide variety, as chosen by (3-ary Anderson's replacement. A motion was mute, seconded and ca.-ri.ed to obtain seedlings for the first section of the living fence-. This section i.nclu,,des; t`ne northeast corner from the drainage ditch east, down the scut;h border and a fil,li ong in of the open areas between the tall wi.l.loFf u A motion was :Made, seconded and carried to purchase 250 seedlings in each of six species, making a total of 1500 seedlinc 5,. The six species suggested werex Willow, Nine-bark, Sumac, Prickly Ash,, Multi-flora rose and Dogwood. Sylvia Winkelman and Ann Mendel -will check on prices. Funds will be sought by Sylvia Winkelman. T-he use of telephone poles or similar pales was discussed. A. motion was made, seconded and carried for t,le Cha..e,rraa , to apploint t%7o people to explore the possibilities of- obtaining and install.-Int.g the poles.
