Committee for the Preservation of the Area West

After a telly by Paul Tjare on Environmental Park D si ,
the meeting- was called to order,
Pauline bangsdorf reported she and Gary Anderson (Depaxt-
ment of Natural Resources) hiked the area West of Yl.awn Park-
k1r, AadersOn commented that he iakesthe soil conservation elan
we have for the area and he would be glad to give us additional
her: on what type of trees to plant and also what kind of
nursery stock would be available to use through the ,Fcresty.

A motion was made and seconded to complete an applicatici
for Forestry Assistance. Pauline Tangsdorf was selected to
handle the matter. The application must be.in by March 15th
for us to be eligible for a large number' of free trees.
A motion was made and seconded that we use the Soil.
Conservation Plan as our basic guide, subject to additions
or .revisions. This way we would use, or add to the oil
Conservation Plan, any ideas Mr. Gary Anderson might su.ggest$
A motion was made and seconded to see if a hydrologist
loould be available to look this area over. PaulLne ltangsdurf
agreed to check With Mr. Anderson about this.
