adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 99-169
RESOLUTION APPROVING ISSUANCE OF AN OFF SALE 3.2 MALT LIQUOR
LICENSE TO DIAMOND LAKE 1994 L.L.C., DBA/CUB FOODS
WHEREAS, Diamond Lake 1994 L.L.C., dba/Cub Foods has applied for an Off Sale
3.2 Malt liquor license for its establishment located at 3245 County Road 10 within the City of
Brooklyn Center; and
and
WHEREAS, Diamond Lake 1994 L.L.C. is a corporation in good business standing;
WHEREAS, Diamond Lake 1994 L.L.C. has submitted all appropriate fees and
necessary documentation for their liquor license and a thorough background investigation has been
conducted by the Brooklyn Center Police Department regarding the corporate officers, store on-site
managers, and the corporation itself and nothing was found in that investigation that would preclude
the issuance of a liquor license to Diamond Lake 1994 L.L.C.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center that the issuance of an Off Sale Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor License to Diamond
Lake 1994 L.L.C. dba/Cub Foods is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center
that the license period begins December 1, 1999, and ends December 31, 2000.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Debra Hilstrom and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.
Myrna Kragness, Debra Hilstrom, Kay Iasman, Ed Nelson, and Robert Peppe;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
