RESOLUTION NO. 99-175
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION AND APPRECIATION FOR THE
PUBLIC SERVICE OF ORGANIZATIONS PARTICIPATING IN BROOKLYN
CENTER'S ADOPT-A-PARK, ADOPT-A-TRAIL, AND ADOPT-A-STREET
PROGRAMS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center determined that it is in
the City's interest to operate volunteer programs that involve the community in the maintenance of
city parks, trails, and streets; and
WHEREAS, the following organizations have generously volunteered their time and
energy participating in the Adopt-A-Park, Adopt-A-Trail, and Adopt-A-Street programs; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that their service to the community be recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the public service of the following groups-is hereby recognized and
appreciated:

Boy Scout Troop #454

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Kay gasman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Myrna Kragness, Debra Hilstrom, Kay lasman, Ed Nelson, and Robert Peppe;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
