HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-104 CCRMember Fri Nelsorintroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 1 RESOLUTION NO. 99-104 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 1998 AND RATIFYING INTERFUND LOANS WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is required by state law and City Charter to annually produce audited financial statements by June 30; and WHEREAS, the attached financial statements have been audited by Deloitte & Touche LLP as required; and WHEREAS, the City Charter gives the City Council the power to make interfund loans as may be deemed necessary and appropriate. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota as follows: 1. that the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report of the City of Brooklyn Center for the Calendar Year ended December 31, 1998 is accepted. 2. that the interfund loan balances as displayed in Note 9 on Page 43 of the financial report are hereby approved and ratified by the City Council. Date ATTEST: City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Kay Lasman , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Kay Lasman, and Ed Nelson; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
