HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-141 CCRMember Debra Hilstrom introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 99-141 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF SERGEANT GREGORY WEEKS WHEREAS, Gregory Weeks has been an employee of the City of Brooklyn Center, Police Department, from December 11, 1968, to September 24, 1999; and WHEREAS, Gregory Weeks has been a sergeant from 1978 to 1999; and WHEREAS, Gregory Weeks has faithfully served the residents of Brooklyn Center as a patrol officer, investigator, and sergeant; and WHEREAS, his dedicated public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate that his service to the community should be recognized and expressed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the dedicated public service of Gregory Weeks is hereby recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Kay Lasman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Debra Hilstrom, Kay lasman, Ed Nelson, and Robert Peppe; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
