HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-032 CCRMember KaY Lasman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. qq-,A,) RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1999 WATER UTILITY FUND BUDGET TO PROVIDE FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF WELL METERS WHEREAS, the City has planned to begin to replace well meters during routine six year well maintenance; and WHEREAS, new well meters need to be installed for accurate pumping information to be sent to the SCADA system; and WHEREAS, the cost to replace all the well meters is $21,560; and 1 WHEREAS, the 1999 routine well maintenance budget of $50,000 is expected to have a surplus of $22,000 due to reduced cost of materials. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the 1999 Water Utility Fund Budget is hereby amended to provide for the purchase of new well meters.
