HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-040 CCRMember Kay Lasman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 99-40 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING 1999 PLANTING LIST OF ALLOWABLE BOULEVARD TREE SPECIES 1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center promotes a diverse urban forest so as to minimize the spread of tree disease; and WHEREAS, section 20-402 of the ordinances provides for an annual listing of allowable boulevard tree varieties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the following trees are hereby designated as allowable boulevard tree species for 1999: Ash (Autumn Purple) Crabapple (Flowering) & cultivars Ginko Hackberry Honeylocust (Imperial, Shademaster, Skyline, Thornless) March 22. 1999 Date I ATTEST-j City Clerk Linden (American) & cultivars Linden (Littleleaf) & cultivars Maple (Norway) & cultivars Maple (Red) & cultivars Maple (Sugar) & cultivars Oak (Pin) Oak (white or Bur) Arp~ or The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Ed Nelson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Debra Hilstrom, Kay Lasman, Fd Nelson, and Robert Beppe and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
