HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-053 CCRMember Kay Lasman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 99-53 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE SELF-PROPELLED PAVEMENT MARKING MACHINE WHEREAS, $58,400 was appropriated in the 1999 Central Garage Fund budget for the purchase of one self-propelled pavement marking machine; and WHEREAS, sealed bids were accepted on March 23, 1999; and 1 WHEREAS, one single bid was received from Long Lake Tractor & Equipment in the amount of $58,004.16; and WHEREAS, the single bid from Long Lake Tractor & Equipment meets the provisions and technical specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Long Lake Tractor & Equipment is hereby accepted, and the purchase of one self-propelled pavement marking machine is hereby approved. ~~j 1 12. 1 q99 Date ATTEST: ju--~ 4. City Clerk Y1~4r U The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Ed Nelson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Debra Hilstrom, Kay lasman, Ed Nelson, and Robert Peppe; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
