its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 98-101
MOLTITION DESIGN&IJNG Q CUSTODIAN OF CITY INVESTMENT ~
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a Policy and Procedure on Requests for
Proposals for Financial Profession Services; and
WHEREAS, proposals for custodian of city investments services are scheduled to
be solicited in 1998 in accordance with this policy; and
WHEREAS, requests for proposals for custodian of city investments services were
solicited and two responses were received and evaluated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center that:
1. The proposal of Norwest Banks to provide custodian of city investments
services is hereby approved.

2. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized and directed to execute the
necessary contracts on behalf of the City.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Lasman
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Kragness, Kathleen Carmody, Debra Hilstrom, Kay Lasman, and Robert Peppe
and the following voted against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
