HomeMy WebLinkAbout1998-124 CCRMember Kathleen Carmody introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 95-124 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGAGEMENT OF ARCHITECTS FOR EARLE BROWN HERITAGE CENTER 1 WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center has received a grant in the amount of $2,500,000 for the completion of the conference facilities at the Earle Brown Heritage Center; and WHEREAS, the City has requested proposals for architectural services related to the completion of the Heritage Center; and WHEREAS, the City has received three (3) qualified proposals for architectural services and the proposal of Blumentals Architecture Inc. is deemed to be the most qualified. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the City Manager be and hereby is authorized to engage the services of Blumentals Architecture Inc. for architectural services related to the Earle Brown Heritage Center project upon terms and conditions as set forth in the proposal submitted by Blumentals Architecture Inc. July 27, 1995 Date Mayor ATTEST: Jk'. - i~~ City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Debra Hilstrom and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Kathl,-en Car, Debra Hilstrom, Kay Lasman, and Robert Peppe; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
