HomeMy WebLinkAbout1998-134 CCR1 Member Kathleen Carmody introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 98-134 RESOLUTION SUBMITTING BROOKLYN CENTER COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO METROPOLITAN COUNCIL WHEREAS, 1995 amendments to the Metropolitan Land Planning Act require municipalities in the metropolitan area to review and, if necessary, update their Comprehensive Plans by December 31, 1998; and WHEREAS, pursuant to this mandate, the City of Brooklyn Center has undertaken such study utilizing a Comprehensive Plan Task Force, made up of city council members, planning commission members and citizen representatives; and WHEREAS, this task force has recommended approval of this updated Comprehensive Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Ccluixa of the City of Brooklyn Center pursuant to State Statutes to submit the Brooklyn Center Comprehensive Plan to the Metropolitan Council for review.
