scheduled for the next regularly scheduled Conservation
Commission meeting (May 19, 1977), A brief discussion
then ensued noting that participants in the workshop will be
involved in role playing requiring them to make energy related
policy decisions. It is the intent of the workshop, instructed
by Dr. Meierotto of St, Thomas College, to demonstrate the
impact of those demands and resultant policy decisions on
lifestyle, inflation, economy and the supply of energy
resources.
Ideally, there should be 25 individuals taking part in the
simulation workshop. The discussion then turned to inviting
individuals to take part in the simulation workshop. After
a brief discussion, tentative agreement was reached to
invite the City Council, staff members, and possibly other
Commission representatives. Final details are to be made
at a future date between Chairman Vetter and Administrative
Assistant Ron Warren.
The Secretary introduced a Conservation Commission draft
resolution expressing appreciation for the dedicated community
