The meeting was held in the Library Reference Room at the
Brooklyn Center City sal l- on February 14, 1972. Thos; present
were, Sylvia Winkelman, Pauline Langsdorf, Don Sechetti, Jim
Dtmyanovieh, Chuck Simonson, jean Fampton and Ann Hencel.
Chuck Simonson informed us that the Task Group's letter
concerning snowmobile enforcement was read to the Crystal City
Council..
Are evaluation writ .en by Terry Metz who worked with youths in
the-MAC Environm.ent;sl p.?rk last summer was discussed. one of his
recomTaendati.ons was to make file nature trays widerby keeping the
nettles cut down.
It was sug'gestod that. the Task Group contact the Crystal.
Environmental Comminsion and the Brooklyn Center Conservation
Commission and invi -oe t hers to visit the area in April to find
out `There the trails could be developed. The Task Group then
could map these trails, keeping in mind 6.reas for the trails to
touch such as warsh or lowland, wooded areas, dry and high areas.

around the environmental area, and to ask Brooklyn Center's and
Crystal': Engineers and _'tiAC or their opinions o$ the effects
