JOINT MEETING OF
PARK BOARDS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
April 14, 1965

The Park Board and Recreation Commission met in joint session and
was called to order by Gerald Gilbertson, Acting Chairman, at 7:45 P.M
Members present were: from the Park Board: Paul Bullen and Francis
Irvin; from the Recreation Commission: Gerald Gilbertson, Leslie
Hagen, Polly Hartin, Francis Irvin, John Leary, Bruce Morrow, and
John Wingard. Also present: Director Eugene Hagel, Assistant Director
Raymond Ecklund, and Kermit Crouch, representing Hodne Associates.
Mr. Crouch reviewed the findings and recommendations of the 701 Study
regarding park and recreational areas in each of the Neighborhoods
and in the Earle Brown Farm area.
After discussion it was moved by Francis Irvin and seconded by Polly
Hartin that the report be accepted and approved in principle. Motion
carried unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
