of the Village of Brooklyn Center in the
Ccunty of Hennemin and State of Minnesota
July 15, 1964
The Park Board met in special session and was called to order
by Paul Bullen, Chairman, at 4: 00 P.M.
Roll Call: Paul Bullen, Francis Irvin, and Janst Zohnson were
present.
Member Fransis Irvin introftced the following resolution and
moved it's adoption:
RESOLUTION ACCEPTS BID
FOR TM PARK SHELWMS
NHEPZM, the Director of Parka has reported that at 11:00 A.M.,
Wednesday, July 1, 1964, he, together with the Village
Administrator, opened and tabulated the bids received for the
construction of two park shelters at Bellvue and Xylawn Parks,
and that said bids were as follows:

1. The bid of D'Arcy Leek Construction Company, Inc.
for the amount of forty-nine thousands eight
hundred dollars ($49,eOO.00), including all
Alternates, is deemed to be the lowest and best
bid submitted and said bid is hereby accepted.
2. The officers of the Park Board are hereby authorized
and directed to enter into a contract with D'Arcy
Leck Construction Company, Inc. for the construction
of two park shelters according to the specifications.
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Janet
u. Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted
n fav" thereof: Paul Sullen, Francis Irving and Janet
Johnson; and the following voted against the same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declar*4 duly passed and adopted.
