Minutes of the Proceedings of the Park Board
of the Village of Brooklyn Center in the

January 14, 1963
The Park Board met in regular session and was called to order
by Paul Bullen, Chairman, at 7:00 P.M.
Roll Call: Paul Bullen and Dallas Lawrence were present.
Francis Irvin was absent.
The minutes of the last regular meeting of November 15, 1962,
were approved as recorded.
Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Swedock were present to discuss the
purchase from the Park Board, of Lot 1, Block 2, Northport
Park Addition. The prospective buyer will consider the asking
price of $4,000.00 including present assessments and inform
the D or.
It was reported that gross receipts to date from the popcorn
concessions 4d $77.50 and ft-cm the a'oft drink concession is
$1,047.40.
A report was presented showing where the shear plates were
missing in the Northport Shelter Building. A report has
been forwarded to the Village Attorney.
The Park Development Priority Schedule as prepared by the
Director was discussed. It was agreed that the Park Board
should seek a meeting with the Village Council to discuss
the shatter further.
It was reported that the old house at 4.900 - 69th Ave. No.
has been torn down and the basement filled to grade level.
The work was done by the Village Street Department Crew.
The meeting was adjourned at 8x30 P.M.
