The Park Hoard met in special session and was called to order
by Pahl Sullen, Chairman, at 2:30 p.m.
Roll Call: Paul Sullen, Francis Irvin, and Dallas Lawrence
were-present.
Mr. Norman Chasin of Homedale Builders was present to discuss
the exchange of land involving a portion of park property
known as Northeast Park.
Member Dallas Lawrence introduced the fallowing resolution and
moved its adoptions

WHEREAS, it appears that an exchange of land as hereinafter
described is in the public interest, and.
WHEREAS, it is mutually agreed upon between the two parties that
said exchange be excuted, the two parties being the Village of
Brooklyn Center Park Surd, and Norman Chazin, doing business
as Homedale Builders.
NOW TRUREFORL, BE IT RESOLVED as follows
1. The Park Board of the Village of Brooklyn Center
is authorized and directed to deed to Norman Chazin
the following described tract of land:
That pert of Lot 37 Auditor's Subdivision No. 309 Hennepin
County, Minnesota described as beginning at a point on the
East lines of said Lot 37 distant 660 feet North of the South-
east corner.of said lot; thence South 10»12'-04" East (said
bearing is assumed) along said East line for a distances of
69.80 feet to a point on a curve convex to the Northwest and
having a radius of 741.41 feet, a tangent of said curve at last
described point has a bearing of 3630-031-►12" W; thence South-
westerly along the last described curve for a distance of 57.69
feet; thence South 580-►35'-43" West along a ling tangent to the
last described curve for a distance of 97.16 feet; thence South-
westerly along a tangential curve to the left with a radius of
1475.54 feet for a distance of 35.02 feet more or less to its
intersection with the West line of they East 165.0 feet of said
Lot 37; thence North along said West line to its intersection
with a line which is parallel with this South line of said
lot and drawn through the point of beginning; thence Bast along
the last described parallel line a distance of 165.0 feet to the
point of beginning. The Southeasterly side of the above
described parcel is the Northwesterly right of way line of a
sewer easement on record in the Village Office of Brooklyn
Center. The above described parcel is subject to a sewer ease-
sent.
2. The foregoing conveyance is made in consideration of
the conveyance by Norman Chazin to the Park Board for
park purposes the following described tract of land:

That part of Lots 37 and 38 Auditor's Subdivision No. 309
described as beginning at a point in the South line of said
Lot 37 distance 165.0 feet West of the Southeast corner of
said Lot 37; thence Worth 10-121-04" West (said bearing is
assumed along a line parallel to the Fast line of said Lot
37 for a distance of 421.56 feet to a point on a curve convex
to the Northwest and having a radius of 1415.54 feet, a tagent
of said curve at last point has a bearing of South 55 -431-53"
West;•thence Southwesterly along the last described curve for
a distance of 190.93 feet; thence mouth 480-00'-11" hest along
a line tangent to the last described curve for a distance of
22.61 feat; thence South 360-26'-05" Fast for a distance of
86.45 feet; thence Southeasterly along a tangential curve to-the
right with a radius of 817.33 feet for a distance of 248.31 feet
more or less to its intersection with the said South line of
Lot 37; thence 8asterly a distance of 9.24 feet more or legs
to the point of beginning. The Northwesterly and the South-
westerly lines of this parcel is the Southeasterly and the North-
easterly right of way lines respectively of sewer easements
on record in the Village Office of Brooklyn Center.
3. The foregoing exchange of land is made in the further
consideration that:
(a) Norman Chaain will pay all coasts of street
improvements on that portion of street running
between, Norman Chasin property and Park Board
property, and
(b) Norman Chasin will pay all legal casts involved
in the exchange of the aforementioned tracts of
land.
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Francis Irvin and
upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor
thereof: Paul Sullen, Francis Irvin, and Dallas Lawrence; and
the following voted against the same: None; wheereeupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The Director was instructed to have the Village Attorney draw
up an agreement, to be signed by both parties, outlining the
terms as stated in the above resolution.
