Poll Call: Paul Pullen, and Dallas I.avrenc--. were present. 1",ember Francis Irvin arrived later as hereiiiafter indicated. The minutes of the regular meeting of July 111, 1960, and the special meetings of July 25 and August 19, 1960, were approvedas recorded. 15otion made by Dallas lairrence secondedby Pav1. Pullen to authorize payment for t, a extension of sani.tr.r r sewer into Tri aple Parh in the amount of `~973,t'C, payment to be made from the Bond Fund. Motion carried. Potion made by Dallas Lawrence and seconded by Paul Pullen to authorize the purchase of 2700 lbs. of grass seed 4026.50 cart. and 4 bushels of rye @2.25 bushels. Total oasir being `724.50 to be paid from the Bond Fund. Notion ,carried. Photion mado by Da11~.s Lawrence and seconded by Paul.. Bullen to authorize the purchase of two Public Address Systems tr be used at the Trianple Park and 1,741low lane rinks, payment to be made from concession profits., Motion carried. Member Francis Irvin arrived at this point. It was announced that the Lion's Club hG s indica:tec? a des-ire for a club project. "everal_ msibilities were discussed, includint the promotion of a staimminp pool. Motion made by Francis Irvin and seconded by Dallas Lawrence to approve the proposed 1961 Park budget as submitted by the Superintendent. Notion carried. It was announces' the 2000 seedling trees hire been ordered from the Minnesota Division of Forestry. These trees, khfch":iwlude 50C each of soft maple, green ash, elm, and blue spruce, t'i_1l be planted by the Boy Scouts next spring.
