June 27* 1960 The Park Board met in special session and was called to order by Paul Bullen, Chairman, at 5:00 P.M. Roll Call: Paul Bullen, Dallas Lawrence and Francis Irvin were present. Member Francis Irvin introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CCNTRACTED BY PARK BOARD) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the Park Board of the Village of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota Gopher Fence and Manufacturing, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following work in accordance with said contract. Erecting of fence at Southeast Park, and backstops at Rice, Northport, Kyle and Willow Lane Parks. WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Parks has inspected and approved the work and thereby recommends its acceptance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Park Board of the Village of Brooklyn Center as follows: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The officers of the Park Board are hereby authorized and directed to issue proper order for final payment on said contract, the total amount paid for said work being $7718.18. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Dallas Lawrence and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Paul Bullen, Francis Irvin, and Dallas Lawrence, and the following voted against the same; none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
