Roll Call: Paul Bul.len, Dallas Lawrence and Francis Irvin were present. Motion made by Francis Irvin and seconded by Dallas Lawrence to contribute X400.00 toward the improvement of Northport Lake provided that the Village Council concurs, and provided also that a satisfactory written agreement can be reached between the Village Council and the lake owners. Notion carried. Notion made by Dallas Lawrence and seconded by Francis Irvin to proceed with the Registered Land Survey for Northport Park. Cost to be paid from the bond fund. Notion carried. Notion made b,r Francis Irvin and seconded by Dallas Lawrence to vacate that part of Northport Drive lying Enst of France Avenue North in Cameron Manor. Motion carried. Motion made by Dallas Lawrence and seconded by Francis Irvin to authorize the raising and lowering of five catch basins in Northport Park at a price of $90.00 each. Cost to be paid from the bond fund. Notion carried. Motion made by Dallas Lawrence and seconded by Francis Irvin to install two catch basins and approximately 200' of tile in Northport Park. Total cost to be under $1, W to be paid from the bond fund. Motion carried. Motion made by Francis Irvin and seconded by Dallas Lawrence to approve the purchase of 2760 pounds of grass seed at $.32 a pound for seeding Northport Park. Cost of seed and labor to be charged to the bond fund. Notion carried. Notion made by Francis Irvin and seconded by Dallas Lawrence to approve the purchase of 640 pounds of grass seed at 0.32 a pound for seeding Rice Park. Cost of seed and labor to be charged to the bond fund. Motion carried. Notion made by Dallas Lawrence and seconded-by Francis Irvin to,approve the expenditures of X50.00 for clay for Rice Park. Motion carried. Notion made by Dallas Lawrence and seconded by Francis Irvin to approve the agreement between the Park board and Robbinsdale School District for the joint use of properties. Motion carried. The acquisition of property for Northeast and South Creek Parks was discussed. No official action was taken. Notion made by Dallas Lawrence and seconded by Francis Irvin to hire a part-time man for maintenance help for ten weeks this summer at f1.25 per hour. Motion carried. It was agreed that the Park Board shall inspect the various jobs being performed under contract prior to the issuance of certificates for final payment. It was announced that the Mid Contenient Park and Recreation Conference will be held in Milwaukee August 10, 11, and 12th. No official action was taken. The superintendent announced that a check for #404.30 had been received from the Lions Club to be used for the purchase of 26 park benches for Northport, Garden City, and Rice Parks. Wean eerr+W It was announced that signs regulating parking and driving in parks have been ordered and will be installed upon arrival. The board agreed to reject an offer of a jet plane to be installed in the parks. The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 P.M. Secretary Chairman
