RESOLUTION NO. 96 -232
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1997 -08,
REFORESTATION OF IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AREAS, ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, Improvement Project Nos. 1996 -01, 02 03, Orchard Lane East and
Improvement Project Nos. 1996 -06, 07 08, Logan, James, Knox Avenues provided for the
reforestation of those trees removed due to construction; and
WHEREAS,the City Engineer has determined the extent of these replacements; and
WHEREAS, the City reasonably expects to reimburse itself for such expenditures
from the proceeds of the Special Assessment Fund for the respective Improvement Projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that:
1. Improvement Project No. 1997 -08, Reforestation of 1996 Improvement
Project Areas is hereby established.
2. Staff is hereby authorized and directed to prepare plans and specifications
and advertisement for bids for Improvement Project No. 1997 -08.
3. The estimated project costs are established as follows:
