HomeMy WebLinkAbout1996-031 CCRadoptio n: Member Kristen Mann introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION NO. 96 -31 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING DESIGNATION OF MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET (EARLE BROWN DRIVE FROM JOHN MARTIN DRIVE TO SUMMIT AVENUE) WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the street hereinafter described should be designated as a Municipal State Aid Streets under the provisions of Minnesota Laws. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the road described as follows, to wit: 1. Earle Brown Drive from John Martin Drive to Summit Drive be, and hereby is established, located and designated as a Municipal State Aid Street of said City, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said roadway or portion thereof, that same be constructed, improved and maintained as a Municipal State Aid Street of the City of Brooklyn Center.
