HomeMy WebLinkAbout1995-241 CCR1 1 1 adoption: Member Kathleen Carmody introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION NO. 95 241 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING DESIGNATION OF MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS (JOHN MARTIN DRIVE FROM SHINGLE CREEK PARKWAY TO T.H.100 AND SUMMIT DRIVE FROM SHINGLE CREEK PARKWAY TO T.H.100) WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the streets hereinafter described should be designated as Municipal State Aid Streets under the provisions of Minnesota Laws. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the roads described as follows, to wit: 1. Summit Drive from Shingle Creek Parkway to T.H. 100 2. John Martin Drive from Shingle Creek Parkway to T.H. 100 be, and hereby are established, located and designated as Municipal State Aid Streets of said City, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Deputy City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said roadways or portion thereof, that same be constructed, improved and maintained as Municipal State Aid Streets of the City of Brooklyn Center. ATTEST: November 13, 1995 Date Deputy Clerk ayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Debra Hilstrom and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Kristen Mann, Debra Hilstrom, and Kathleen Carmody; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
