HomeMy WebLinkAbout1995-235 CCR1 adoption: Member Kristen Mann introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION NO. 95 -235 RESOLUTION DECLARING SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR DISPOSITION OF SURPLUS CITY HALL OFFICE FURNITURE WHEREAS, The City Council on November 28, 1994 authorized the purchase of ergonomic workstations as a part of an interim city hall remodeling plan; and WHEREAS, office furniture replaced by these workstations is no longer needed; and WHEREAS, it is possible the city could generate a higher sales price by soliciting proposals from used office furniture brokers. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that: excess office equipment replaced as a part of the interim city hall remodeling is hereby declared surplus property and that development of a request for proposal is authorized for its disposition. October 23, 1995 Date ATTEST: 4. 41_ Deputy Clerk Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Debra Hilstrom and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Kristen Mann, Debra Hilstrom, and Kathleen Carmody; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
