HomeMy WebLinkAbout1995-141 CCRadoption: WHEREAS, the purpose of Earle Brown Days is to promote the City of Brooklyn Center, its people, and amenities; and WHEREAS, residents, the city community civic groups, and businesses participate in the annual civic celebration to demonstrate the vitality of the City of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, in order for Earle Brown Days, Inc. to schedule certain events requiring City- issued administrative land use permits, it is necessary for Earle Brown Days to be declared a civic event. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that Earle Brown Days are declared a civic event from June 14, 1995, through July 1, 1995. ATTEST: Member Kathleen Carmody introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION DECLARING EARLE BROWN DAYS AS A CIVIC EVENT FROM JUNE 14 THROUGH JULY 1. 1995 June 12, 1995 Date 1.1.1E AJAIAA' Deputy Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 95 -141 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Kristen Mann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Barb Kalligher, Kristen Mann, Debra Hilstrom, and Kathleen Carmody; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
