HomeMy WebLinkAbout1995-111 CCR1 1 1 Member Kathleen Carmody introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION DESIGNATING 1995 PLANTING LIST OF ALLOWABLE BOULEVARD TREE SPECIES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center promotes a diverse urban forest so as to minimize the spread of tree disease; and WHEREAS, section 20 -402 of the ordinances provides for an annual listing of allowable boulevard tree varieties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the following trees are hereby designated as allowable boulevard tree species for 1995: Ash (Autumn Purple) Crabapple (Flowering) cultivars Hackberry Honeylocust (Imperial, Shademaster, Skyline, Thornless) Ironwood Japanese Tree Lilac April 24, 1995 Date ATTEST: I Il22lJYI L /61.4513A, Deputy Clerk and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
