Member Barb Kalligher introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 95 -06
RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1995 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO PROVIDE
FUNDING FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT BREATHING EOUIPMENT REPAIRS,
WHEREAS, Section 7.09 of the City Charter of the City of Brooklyn Center
does provide for a contingency appropriation as a part of the General Fund Budget and
further provides the contingency appropriation by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby approves an allocation of $11,000 to
update 28 Scott Breathing Pac's to NIOSH /MSHA standards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center to amend the 1995 General Fund Budget as follows:
Increase the appropriations for the
Unit No. 132 Operating Supplies
Decrease the appropriations for
Department Contingency Account

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
Kristen Mann and upon vote being taken thereon,
voted in favor thereof:

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
