HomeMy WebLinkAbout1995-038 CCR1 MemberKathleen Carmody introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR CERTAIN DELINQUENT PUBLIC UTILITY SERVICE ACCOUNTS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that: ATTEST: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 27th day of February, 1995 in the Council Chambers at City Hall at approximately 7 p.m. to pass upon the proposed assessments for certain Delinquent Public Utility Service Accounts 2. The City Clerk with the assistance of the Director of Public Services shall forthwith prepare an assessment roll for the above charges, and shall keep it on file and open to inspection by any interested persons. 3. The City Clerk is directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing. 4. The City Clerk shall cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in such assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Kristen Mann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Kristen Mann, Debra Hilstrom, and Kathleen Carmody;
