HomeMy WebLinkAbout1994-215 CCR1 1 1 its adoption: Member Kristen Mann introduced the following resolution and moved RESOLUTION NO. 94 -2j RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL FOR A BENCHMARK SURVEY AND OTHER SERVICFS_RELATING TO THE PROPOSED 1995 BOND ISSUE WHEREAS, the City's Park and Recreation Commission has requested that the City Council consider a bond referendum in 1995 to finance improvements to the City's parks and Community Center; and WHEREAS, staff have identified space needs in the Police Department and at the East and West Fire Stations; and WHEREAS, the City Council believes it is in the City's interest to commission a survey of taxpayer opinions regarding these issues; and WHEREAS, a proposal has been received from Decision Resources, Inc., to conduct a benchmark survey and to provide other services related to the development of a possible 1995 bond issue. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that: 1. The proposal as submitted by Decision Resources, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota is hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract, in an amount not exceed $11,000, with Decision Resources, in the name of the City of Brooklyn Center. 2. All costs relating to this project shall be charged to the Capital Improvements Fund.
