HomeMy WebLinkAbout1994-011 CCR1 1 1 Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: January 10, 1994 Date RESOLUTION NO. 94 -11 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) COPIER /DUPLICATOR WHEREAS, an appropriation was approved in the Unallocated Departmental Budget for the purchase of one (1) copier; and WHEREAS, two bids were received as follows: Company Bid Pitney Bowes $13,797.07 Coordinated Business Systems, Inc. 29,994.66 WHEREAS, the copier proposed by Pitney Bowes does not meet the specifications as approved by the City Council on December 20, 1993, and therefore should be rejected. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid submitted by Pitney Bowes is hereby rejected on the grounds the equipment proposed does not meet the specifications. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the purchase of one (1) Mita DC -8585 with tandem 20 -bin sorter from Coordinated Business Systems, Inc., in the amount of $29,994.66, is hereby approved.
