HomeMy WebLinkAbout1993-026 CCR1 Member Celia Scott moved its adoption: WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center has initiated a feasibility study for a proposed residential street improvement program; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that the City obtain detailed appraisals of representative residential properties in the study area(s), to analyze the benefits of the proposed improvements; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has received a proposal from BCL Appraisals Inc. for services relating to the appraisal of 4 to 6 residential properties in the Southeast Neighborhood Study Area, with a cost not to exceed $6,000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that: ATTEST: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL TO PROVIDE A PROFESSIONAL APPRAISAL OF BENEFITS RELATING TO A PROPOSED RESIDENTIAL STREET IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFORE 1. The proposal submitted by BCL Appraisals Inc. to provide residential appraisal services in the Southeast Neighborhood Study Area at a cost not to exceed $6,000 is hereby accepted. 2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract with BCL Appraisals Inc. on behalf of the City. 3. All cost related to this contract shall be appropriated from the Municipal State Aid Street Fund, Account No. 2911. February 22, 1993 Date Todd Paulson, Mayor RESOLUTION NO. 93 -26 -Km..teem Deputy Clerk introduced the following resolution and The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Kristen Mann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Dave Rosene, Barb Kalligher, and Kristen Mann; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
