resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 93 -30
introduced the following
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR
THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF GREGG PEPPIN
WHEREAS, Gregg Peppin served on the Brooklyn Center ad
hoc City Financial Task Force from April 22, 1991, through July 13,
1992; and
WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center City Council transformed the
Brooklyn Center ad hoc City Financial Task Force into a Brooklyn
Center Financial Commission on July 13, 1992; and
WHEREAS, Gregg Peppin served on the Brooklyn Center
Financial Commission from July 13, 1992, through February 25, 1993;
and
WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the
betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of
Brooklyn Center; and
WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate his service to the
community should be recognized and expressed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center that the dedicated public service of Gregg
Peppin is hereby recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn
Center.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Barb Kalligher and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Dave Rosene, Barb Kalligher, and Kristen Mann;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
