RESOLUTION NO. 93 -50
RESOLUTION RECEIVING CITY ENGINEER'S FEASIBILITY REPORT;
INITIATING CONSIDERATION OF IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS 1993 -02
(SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS), 1993 -03 (WATER SYSTEM
IMPROVEMENTS), 1993 -04 (STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS),
AND 1993 -05 (STREET IMPROVEMENTS) IN AREA FROM LOGAN
AVENUE NORTH TO 4TH STREET NORTH, AND BETWEEN 53RD AVENUE
NORTH AND 55TH AVENUE NORTH; PROPOSING A FINANCING PLAN
FOR SUCH IMPROVEMENTS AND CALLING A HEARING THEREON
WHEREAS, pursuant to Brooklyn Center City Council's Resolution No.
92 -208, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer regarding the
following described projects:
Improvement Projects 1993 -02 (Sanitary Sewer Improvements), 1993 -03
(Water System Improvements), 1993 -04 (Storm Drainage Improvements),
and 1993 -05 (Street Improvements) In Area From Logan Avenue North To
4th Street North, And Between 53rd Avenue North And 55th Avenue
North;
And this report was received by the Council on March 22, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the City reasonably expects to make expenditures for Project
1993 -05 from the M.S.A. Construction Fund, and the Special Assessment
Construction Fund, on a temporary basis to finance the project; and
WHEREAS, the City reasonably expects to reimburse itself for such
Project 1993 -05 expenditures from the proceeds of taxable or tax exempt bonds,
the debt service for which is expected to be paid from property taxes, and
special assessments; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed to assess the benefitted properties for a,
portion of the costs of Improvement Project No. 1993 -05, Street Improvements,
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that:
1. The Council will consider the improvement in accordance with the
report and the assessment of benefitted property as detailed in the
report for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant
to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $2,823,832.

RESOLUTION NO. 93 -50
ATTEST:
2. This resolution is intended to constitute official intent to issue
taxable or tax exempt reimbursement bonds for purposes of Treasury
Regulation 1.103 -18 and any successor law, regulation or ruling.
3. A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvement on the
22nd day of April, 1993, in Constitution Hall at Brooklyn Center
Community Center at 7:00 p.m. local time, and the Deputy City Clerk
shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvement as required by law.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof:
Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Dave Rosene, Barb Kalligher, and Kristen Mann;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
