HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-258 CCR1 1 Member Philip Cohen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92 -258 RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE STORM DRAINAGE UTILITY RATE SCHEDULE WHEREAS, it is a requirement of the Brooklyn Center City Charter that Brooklyn Center's municipal utilities be self- sustaining entities through revenue provided by a uniform schedule of rates, fees, and charges; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has reviewed the financial requirements of the Storm Drainage Utility and has developed a recommended rate schedule. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the following schedule of Storm Drainage fees will be in effect as of January 1, 1993: I CHARGE PER QUARTER PER ACRE CLASSIFI- CATION LAND USE 1992 1993 1994 I Base Rate I $18.00 I $24.00 I $27.00 1 I Cemeteries, Golf Courses I $4.50 $6.00 1 $6.75 2 I Parks I $9.00 1 $12.00 1 $13.50 3 Single Family, $4.50/ $6.00/ $6.75/ Duplex, Townhouse lot lot lot 4 Schools, Government $22.50 $30.00 $33.75 Buildings 5 I Multiple Family, Churches I $54.00 I $72.00 I $81.00 6 I Commercial and Industrial I $90.00 I $120.00 I $135.00 7 Vacant Land As As As Assigned Assigned Assigned 1 RESOLUTION NO, 92 -258 November 9, 1992 Date ATTEST: Deputy Clem Todd Paulson, Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Dave Rosene and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Jerry Pedlar, Dave Rosene, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
