HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-156 CCRMember Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92 156 RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING GIFT FROM THE ROTARY CLUB OF BROOKLYN CENTER WHEREAS, THE ROTARY CLUB OF BROOKLYN CENTER has presented the City a gift of eight hundred dollars ($800) and has designated that it be used for the "Entertainment in the Parks" recreation program and flowers in Central Park; and WHEREAS, the City Council is appreciative of the gift and commends the Rotary Club of Brooklyn Center for its civic efforts: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to acknowledge the gift with gratitude; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the gift of $800 be appropriated as follows: Recreation Programs, "Entertainment in the Parks" Parks Maintenance, Landscape Materials Supplies $300 $500 Date o.. gar son, Mayor ATTEST: eputy C er The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Dave Rosene and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Dave Rosene, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
