HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-176 CCR1 1 Member Dave Rosene introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING NEGOTIATED AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY AT 4100 51ST AVENUE NORTH, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1992 -12 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 92 -90 adopted on April 27, 1992, the City Council established Improvement Project 1992 -12, Purchase of Property at 4100 51st Avenue North; and WHEREAS, by said resolution the Council authorized the City Manager to negotiate the purchase of this property, and directed the City Manager to offer to the property owner the amount determined by appraisal; and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has accepted the City Manager's offer of the appraised value, and has executed a purchase agreement to that effect. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that: 1. The terms of the purchase agreement are hereby approved. 2. The City Manager is directed to proceed with the purchase of the property. 3. The City Manager is authorized to execute the purchase agreement.
