RESOLUTION NO.
92 -202
introduced the following
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF A LAWFUL GAMBLING
LICENSE TO THE BROOKLYN CENTER LIONS CLUB TO OPERATE A
PULL -TAB BOOTH AT THE LYNBROOK BOWL
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Charitable Gambling Control Board
requires a municipality to submit a resolution authorizing issuance
of any lawful gambling license within its borders; and
WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Lions Club has held and
currently holds such licenses within the City of Brooklyn Center
and has been no problem; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center allows for such
conduct on premises within the City of Brooklyn Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center that the issuance of a lawful gambling
license to the Brooklyn Center Lions Club to operate a pull -tab
booth at the Lynbrook Bowl is hereby approved.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken
thereon the following voted in favor thereof:
Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Jerry Pedlar, Dave Rosene, and Philip Cohen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
