HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-231 CCR1 1 1 Member Celia Scott resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92 -231 WHEREAS, on May 26, Council directed City staff to salary study with the results Associates (LRA) for an audit in introduced the following RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1992 GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR FEES RELATED TO THE MANAGEMENT SALARY STUDY 1992, the Brooklyn Center City conduct an in -house management being sent to Labor Relations the amount of $2,000; and WHEREAS, the management study has been audited by LRA and reviewed by the City Council at its August 24, 1992, meeting; and WHEREAS, funding of the audit has not been officially designated in the City's General Fund Budget; and WHEREAS, Section 7.09 of the City Charter of the City of Brooklyn Center does provide for a contingency appropriation as a part of the General Fund Budget, and further provides that the contingency appropriation may be transferred to any other appropriation by the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the 1992 General Fund Budget is hereby amended as follows: Increase the appropriation for the following line item: Dept. 113, City Manager's Office Object No. 4310, Professional Services Decrease the appropriation for the following line item: Object 180, Unallocated Department Expense Object No. 4995, Contingency ATTEST: September 28, 1992 Date r Olam Deputy Clerk C $2,000.00 $2,000.00 Todd Paulson, Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Dave Rosene and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Jerry Pedlar, Dave Rosene, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
