HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-093 CCR1 Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, LOGIS (Local Government Information Systems) is a consortium of Minnesota local government units who have joined together to provide a full range of low -risk, high reliability management information systems, data processing services, and related support services; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is an original member of the consortium; and WHEREAS, the Hewlett- Packard Corporation has announced that LOGIS has won the national High Technology Award from the Hewlett- Packard Corporation for the category "Long Term Cost Savings and WHEREAS, LOGIS received this recognition by providing a cost effective computing environment for our city and other cities for many years. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to commend LOGIS, its Executive Committee, its Board of Directors, and especially Mr. Mike Garris, Executive Director, and his Staff for earning this prestigious award.
