Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, numerous bills were passed during the spring 1992
legislative session which will help and improve the City of
Brooklyn Center; and
WHEREAS, Representative Wayne Simoneau of Fridley was
instrumental in
passage of a bill for $50,000 4 Cities Business Retention and
Development Growth Project; and
WHEREAS, his efforts towards this bill are greatly
appreciated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center that the willingness and dedication shown by
Representative Wayne Simoneau is hereby recognized and appreciated
by the City of Brooklyn Center.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Jerry Pedlar, and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Todd Paulson, Celia Scott,
Jerry Pedlar, Dave Rosene, and Philip Cohen; and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was
declared duly passed and adopted.
