HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-034 CCR1 1 Member Dave Rosene introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92 RESOLUTION ADOPTING ANNUAL LIST OF ALLOWABLE BOULEVARD TREES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center promotes a diverse urban forest so as to minimize the spread of tree disease; and WHEREAS, section 20 -402 of the ordinances provides for an annual listing of allowable boulevard tree varieties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that: 1. The following is the list of allowable boulevard trees for 1992: Ash (Patmore) Ash (Summit) Ash (Autumn Purple) Crabapple (Flowering) cultivars Hackberry Honeylocust (Imperial, Shademaster, Skyline, Thornless) Ironwood 2. Exceptions may be made to the above list only by written permission from the Director of Public Works or the Director's designee.
