Member Dave Rosene introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 92
RESOLUTION ADOPTING ANNUAL LIST OF ALLOWABLE BOULEVARD TREES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center promotes a
diverse urban forest so as to minimize the spread of tree disease; and
WHEREAS, section 20 -402 of the ordinances provides for an annual
listing of allowable boulevard tree varieties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that:
1. The following is the list of allowable boulevard trees for 1992:
Ash (Patmore)
Ash (Summit)
Ash (Autumn Purple)
Crabapple (Flowering) cultivars
Hackberry
Honeylocust (Imperial, Shademaster,
Skyline, Thornless)
Ironwood
2. Exceptions may be made to the above list only by written
permission from the Director of Public Works or the Director's
designee.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Jerry Pedlar and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof:
Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Jerry Pedlar, Dave Rosene, and Philip Cohen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
