HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-039 CCR1 1 1 Member Jerry Pedlar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MONA HINTZMAN WHEREAS, Mona Hintzman served on the Brooklyn Center Charter Commission from February 15, 1984, to February 15, 1992; and WHEREAS, Mona Hintzman has served in the capacities of Vice Chairperson, Audit Chair, and has always been willing to serve on various ad hoc committees throughout her term; and WHEREAS, her public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, her leadership and expertise has been greatly appreciated by the Brooklyn Center Charter Commission; and WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate that her services to the community should be recognized and expressed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the dedicated public service of Mona Hintzman is hereby recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. March 9, 1992 Date ATTEST: Deputy Clerk Todd Paulson, Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Dave Rosene and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Jerry Pedlar, Dave Rosene, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
