HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-049 CCR1 1 Member Jerry Pedlar resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 92 -49 introduced the following RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO A GRANT WITH THE STATE OFFICE OF DRUG POLICY WHEREAS, the City did enter into a grant agreement with the State Office of Drug Police for the period March 1, 1991 through February 29, 1992; and WHEREAS, the grant allowed the City to provide an outreach worker to work with at -risk youth in the Humboldt /Camden area of the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council agrees that this is a worthwhile program within the City of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, the City is making application for another twelve month grant from the State Office of Drug Policy to extend this outreach worker program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center authorize the City Manager to sign the application for a grant from the State Office of Drug Policy. ATTEST: March 9, 1992 Date Deputy Clerk Todd Paulson, Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Jerry Pedlar, Dave Rosene, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
